Birthday Parties

(All guests will be painted with full face, large, or cheek designs of their choice )

$80 for one hour, and a rate of $50 an hour for each following hour booked.

An average of 10 guests will be painted per hour. If you are unsure of how many hours to book me, I am happy to advise you. If your birthday party has a specific theme, and you’d like me to provide designs that correlate with that theme, please let me know in advance. 

Large Parties/Social Events

(All guests will be painted with full face, large, or cheek designs of their choice )

$100 for one hour, and a rate of $80 for each following hour booked.

This pricing option is available for those who are hosting a larger private event, such as a family reunion, wedding reception, holiday party, corporate event, etc.  If your event has a specific theme, and you’d like me to provide designs that correlate with that theme, please let me know in advance. 

Group Rates for "Pay Per Person" Events

$5 for smaller designs

$10 for full face/larger designs

This pricing option is available for any venue hosting a public event who wants their patrons to pay directly. Face-painted patrons will be charged per person at the time that they are painted.

Retainer

I charge a $35 retainer fee per every event. 

A $35 deposit will be charged to reserve your date and will be applied as a credit towards the hourly rate for birthday parties, large parties/social events, and pay per face events. Your date will not be booked until payment is received. This is non refundable, unless I am the one who has to cancel in the case of an emergency. The retainer fee exists to ensure that in the case of a last minute cancellation, my time preparing for the event, traveling, and setting my valuable time aside for you has not been wasted. Once you have submitted the client form, I will review your form and send you a confirmation email, ensuring I will be attending your event. The confirmation email will include a link to my Venmo account. Once you have received the email, there will be a 24 hour payment deadline. If I don't receive your retainer fee payment within 24 hours, I will cancel your event and you will need to resubmit your form. 

Glitter Tattoos

If you’d like me to do glitter tattoos for your event along with face painting, my rates stay the same. This only applies if each guest is choosing between a glitter tattoo OR face paint, not both. If you’d like guests to have both a glitter tattoo and face paint, I will charge an additional $50 per hour. 

Setup for All Events

I will provide all necessary equipment needed for my setup and painting. I ask you to have an area of 6’ x 6’ for my painting setup.

Weather can have an impact on my paint and my ability to paint. If your event is being held outdoors during a hot time period, I ask that you either have a shaded or indoor area for me to paint, or that you let me know in advance that I need to bring an umbrella. This is not only for the comfort of the child I’m painting and myself, but hot weather and direct sun can melt my paints and I am unable to use them.  If the weather is too cold, my fingers will struggle to grip my brushes and I am physically unable to paint, and will need to paint indoors where it is warmer. I ask you to be considerate of these things when hiring me.

Breaks

I will have paid breaks of 5-10 minutes every two hours and access to a restroom.

Extreme Adverse Working Conditions

I have the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any payment if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the client fails to properly remedy the situation after it has been brought to the client’s attention. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, guest, or pet, illegal activities, discrimination, sexual harassment, or otherwise dangerous situations. 

Overtime

Any time beyond the time booked will cost $50 per hour or $25 per half hour. Any excess time after my scheduled time frame that you’d like me to stay is considered at least a half hour and will cost $25. Please be considerate of the fact that I have outside responsibilities, including other face painting events that I need to attend. Additional time on the day of the event may not be available, although I will attempt to accommodate requests for additional paid time. 

Policies

Face paints used have been designed for professional face paint use and are FDA approved, non toxic, and hypoallergenic. Although, as with any cosmetics, some people may have a sensitivity to a common ingredient found within the product. Children can be allergic to a wide range of common products. I am not responsible for any such reactions. If you’d like to do your own research about the products I use, the brand names include but are not limited to: Bowitski, Fusion Body Art, TAG Body Art, CCBeauty, Wolfe FX, Diamond FX, and Kraze. 

If you are concerned about your child’s reaction to face paint, please discuss it with me before your child is painted. I am happy to do a swatch test on the child’s arm ½ hour in advance to test how their skin will react. 

I will not paint anyone who appears to be suffering from: Cold Sores, Conjunctivitis, open facial wounds, or any similar infectious skin complaint. I will not paint anyone who is experiencing symptoms of, or has tested positive for COVID-19. 

I will not paint anyone who does not want to be painted. I will not attempt to paint a struggling or crying child. It is my duty as a face painter to ensure that a child has a positive experience while being provided my services. I will not violate a child’s right to consent and their right to not be painted.
